After losing my left arm while serving, I had to figure out what life was supposed to look like next. Working with wood gave me a way to create again.

Today, I shape, sand and assemble each pen one at a time—because if someone is going to hold something I made, I want it to be worth holding onto.

I’ve learned that when you put your heart into something, it can truly help you heal.

Creating these handmade wooden bullet pens pulled me out of a dark place and gave me a new purpose.

Each pen is individually hand-turned and sanded on my lathe using carefully selected Pear Wood, a rare North American hardwood known for its unique swirling grain and natural character. No factory production. No shortcuts. Just patience, precision, and passion.

The wood is carefully polished by hand to reveal its natural warmth, then finished with high-quality metal fittings and a pen tip crafted from genuine bullet casing metal. Every detail is thoughtfully created to celebrate strength, resilience, and craftsmanship.
